Fragrance Oils are midway through a major transformation.

We are at the midpoint of Fragrance Oils’ IFS upgrade journey, moving from IFS Applications 10 to IFS Cloud 25R2, and it is a good moment to reflect on what has been achieved so far.

The standout has been the collaboration. The Fragrance Oils team have been proactive, engaged, and genuinely committed to making this project work.

Stuart Parkinson at Fragrance Oils shared his mid-project feedback with us:

“Rebuilding the majority of our heavily customised Apps 10 solution ahead of SME testing meant we were working with the genuine solution from day one. This enabled our SMEs to run real end-to-end processes during IT1 in an IFS Cloud environment that felt familiar and aligned to our day-to-day operations.”

He also noted that early delivery of core custom functionality allowed the team to identify and raise issues quickly, with Change8 responding efficiently to keep momentum high and ensure the SME effort translated into tangible progress.

Delivering 500+ CRIMs, including many complex customisations, within five months was no small feat. It took technical depth, functional expertise, and a client team that showed up ready to work.

We have now complete IT1 and are now progressing through IT2. More to come as the project moves into its next phase.
